  • I utilize my social media channels IG: GreenGirlLeah to post accessible content that explores sustainability, eco-friendly living, environmental justice and culture with an engaged audience of 266k+ followers.

    In 2020 I created and managed @intersectionalenvironmentalist, which hosts a robust following of over 400k+ followers - and has gone on to become a leading environmental justice non-profit and resource hub

  • I work with brands to apply an intersectional perspective to sustainability efforts and to develop philanthropic strategies to support grassroots environmental activism - previous clients include Apple, Futerra, Starbucks and Target.

    I’ve also delivered keynotes and spoken on panels at Universities, conferences, and internal corporate trainings - including : Google, The New York Times Climate Hub, Aspen Ideas, Salesforce Dream Force, 1% For The Planet Global Summit, UCLA, Elon University and more.

  • In 2022 I released my debut book The Intersectional Environmentalist with Little Brown Voracious and am working on my second that explores the relationship between women and the planet. My Op-Eds have appeared in publications such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Atmos and more.

Leah is a celebrated environmentalist based in Los Angeles, CA. Coining the term ‘eco-communicator’ to describe her style of environmental activism. Leah uses her passion for writing and creativity to explore and advocate for the critical yet often overlooked relationship between social justice and environmentalism. Her work includes consulting with brands like Apple and TAZO, projects with Meta, KEEN, TEVA, Indie Best Selling Book The Intersectional Environmentalist, and working on the Communications team at Patagonia HQ.
