How to be a Conscious Investor with COIN

This post is sponsored by COIN. All opinions are my own.

I created my blog because I want the world to be a better place that’s cleaner, greener, and more equitable for all people. I know this might sound cheesy, but I really mean that from the bottom of my heart. Sometimes I struggle with figuring out how I can contribute more to the environmental and social causes I care about. There can be a lot of burn out in the social-good space during divisive times as these, but thankfully more platforms are emerging to make investing in a better future a lot simpler.

Most of my friends know there are three main areas that I’m interested in: wellness, sustainability, and environmental + social justice. For me all of these are aligned. A cleaner and safer environment contributes to wellness which increases empathy, compassion, and hopefully social justice. I started saving money after college and started gradually eying the idea of financial investment, not just for my wallet, but also towards what I believe in. And I’ve discovered that many other people are looking for something similar, but don’t know where to start. I started to brainstorm and came up with this list of what I wanted in an investment platform:

What I want from investing:

-       To know where my money is going

-       To feel confident that the causes I’m supporting match my values

-       A platform or service that’s easy to navigate

-       Easy to navigate

-       Directly supports environmental and social justice causes

COIN is a new conscious investing platform where you can invest responsibly in the causes you care about with ease. You don’t have to be an expert to start investing in what you believe in. COIN is a tool designed to help empower you to invest confidently, while also supporting the areas you care about, like gender equality, clean water, climate action and access to better health.

I feel better knowing there are services out there that want people to invest consciously. I’m still learning how to handle my earnings (and be an adult), but the older I get the more my heart-strings pull me towards searching for solutions rooted in social-good. COIN makes it easy for users to feel empowered and know their money is supporting the causes that matter to them. If you’re considering investing and want to prioritize social good, check out COIN for yourself! :)
